In the log-line it plays itself of as a simple story about
young love amidst an occupied military state, but this only amplifies what
turns into a dramatic thriller. Of course the Palestinian thriller is not the
same as Hollywood thriller, it’s much more subtle. But this is a GREAT film.
The ending is insane.
It's takes place in occupied Palestine, and honestly I had to research some of the stuff that happened in this film, but it was worth it. Check it out is you like this kind of thing. The director Abu-Assad did another film Paradise Now in 2005, but Omar is even better that. Way better.
